Ready to eat like a local?
Want to learn how to shop, bargain and get the best Tacos?

Follow Kat as she weaves through the Tuesday Market (San Miguel Allende Tianguis) while she shows you the foodie delights of Mexico. We start by selecting a family seasonal recipe, tweaked for dietary constraints and then shop for fresh-from-the-farm culinary delights. You will purchase the ingredients directly from the farmer. Choose from family recipes for soups, traditional tacos, Mexican salads, chile en nogada plus other chile dishes (all dishes can be made gluten-free and dairy-free). Tell Kat your favorite Mexican dish and she will teach you how to make it plus some culinary tips to keep it simple. Either the same afternoon or next day, Kat will join you in your kitchen (or hers) and cook beside you to create your selected dish. You will learn traditional cooking plus have a delicious meal. You must schedule in advance and place a deposit to hold the date. We leave every Tuesday from Colonia San Rafael at 8:30AM and return in about 2.5 hrs. Limit 4 people per tour.

Donations for the tour and cooking lessons are 900 pesos for one person, 1500 for two and 3-4 people is 2200 pesos.
