Marijani & Hans - Professional House Sitters

Hi there! We're Marijani and Hans, and we're excited to introduce ourselves as your potential house sitters.

About Us

Originally from the US, we've lived and worked in many parts of the world, from Europe and South America to Southeast Asia and the South Pacific. We're passionate travelers who love immersing ourselves in new cultures and making international friends. Marijani is a talented artist and surface designer, and Hans specializes in optimizing websites to improve their search engine ranking.

We also have a soft spot for furry friends! As former pet owners ourselves, we've cared for a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, birds, fish, and bunnies.

Rest assured that your home will be in good hands with us. Marijani has hosted many people for extended periods of time, so she knows how to keep a stylish, clean, comfortable, and safe abode. And if you have plants, they'll thrive with Marijani's green thumb! She previously owned and operated a botanical garden on a tropical island, so she has an abundance of experience taking care of indoor/outdoor plants, flower gardens, and vegetable gardens.

Why We House Sit

We believe that house sitting is a great — and mutually beneficial — way to travel and explore the world. Homeowners can step away knowing that their home and pets are in good hands, and we get a home base and some furry companions while we're on the go. We've also found that it's a great way to be part of a delightful community of travelers.

Our Experience

We have a lot of experience with house sitting and pet sitting, and we're happy to provide impeccable references upon request. Marijani has experience with special needs animals, including administering medicine and providing extra loving care, and Hans has experience as a custodian for Guide Dogs for the Blind.
